2025 Western Massachusetts Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Inductees:
Todd Ezold
Catcher for Classical High School in Springfield and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While at UMass, Ezold was selected to compete for a position on the 1984 US Olympic Baseball team, where he was a finalist. Drafted by the New York Yankees in the 18th Round of the 1985 Draft.
Pete Fatse
Infielder for Minnechaug Regional High School, and University of Connecticut. Selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 24th round of the 2009 MLB Draft. The Minnesota Twins Named Fatse as their minor league hitting coordinator in January 2019. After the 2019 season, the Boston Red Sox hired him as their Assistant Hitting Coach. He was promoted to Hitting Coach in 2021, where he is now in his fourth season.
Terry Murphy
Former Holyoke mayor and city council member and a graduate of Holyoke High School. Member of baseball teams at Holyoke Catholic, Holyoke Community College and Stonehill College. Served as head coach for Holyoke Catholic and Dean Technical High School.
Tom Sgroi
Coached Westfield High School From 1983 to 2003, where he won 330 games and posted a winning percentage of .729. Also won 5 Western Massachusetts Championships during his tenure. Sgroi was elected to the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 1996.
Kevin Stannard
Recently retired long-time coach of Taconic High School. Stannard coached for 32 years, where he won a D1 state championship in 2017, went to the D3 state finals in 2018 and won the D3 championship in 2019 and 2021. During his tenure as head coach Stannard won over 400 games an was named the 2017 Western Massachusets Coach of the Year.

Ryan Doyle Courage Award – In Memory of Dylan Pariseau
The Ryan Doyle Courage Award is being posthumously awarded to Dylan Pariseau, who passed away in 2024. Dylan was teammates with Ryan and shared many of the traits that Ryan exemplified. Dylan was a catcher and an integral member of the Minnechaug baseball team. He went on to receive a BS degree in Biology and Chemestry from Keene State before embarking on a career in scientific reseach.
Garry Brown Excellence Award – Presented to Rich Tettemer
The Hall of Fame Committee is Pleased to present this award to Rich Tettemer in honor of his longtime career and commitment to broadcast media. Rich joined WWLP in April of 1988 as Sports Director. During his career at WWLP, he was voted by the readers of the Valley Advocate as Best Sportscaster and has garnered 13 Associated Press awards from 1994 through 2006.
