This is the recording of the event “Not a NoPlace”, featuring Kayara Akiva.

This space, produced and curated by Camille Ollivierre is inspired by Lucille Clifton’s poem “what the mirror said” Not a No Place is a pop-up open mic series centering QTBIPoC artists. It serves as its own unique frequency, inviting participants into the present moment and offering a space to practice truthfulness—with ourselves, our emotions, and our art. While the space welcomes all, only QTBIPoC artists are invited to take the mic.
