We Are Each Other’s Magnitude Featuring Pampi
Taken from the poetry of the great Gwendolyn Brooks, “We Are Each Other’s Magnitude” honors our Ancestors, blood, chosen, Queer/Trans & literary, and reminds us of our power to create liberatory futures. Ebbie and Julissa developed this series as a response to an expressed urgent need for creative/healing spaces for Queer/Trans Black & Indigenous People of Color and disabled communities. Centering and celebrating QTBIPOC experiences, we work to cultivate and contribute to our collective thriving through multi-arts workshops, performances, readings, and open mics. Ebbie Russell and Julissa Rodríguez are QTBIPOC transdisciplinary artists, poets, and community organizers who prioritize 2SLGBTQIA, Neuro-expansive, and Disabled Black, Brown, and Indigenous people. We welcome folks who are fierce allies who commit to calling out and dismantling xenophobia, anti-Blackness, anti-fatness, saneism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia.
Featured poet Pampi is a cultural worker, visual + performing artist and people’s poet developing community-centered expressive arts healing workshops rooted in popular education.
