Schools Get $101M

 In State Representative's Message

As the bulk of voting is over and the commonwealth’s budget is set at $58 billion, state Rep. Pat Duffy announces that Holyoke Public Schools will receive $101 million, which is very close to its total $117 million budget.

Additionally, there will be $75,000 for Holyoke Community College’s Thrive Program which helps students who are homeless, need legal help, are hungry.

More about this program here.

Homework House will receive $35,000 to help continue its mission.

And more!

As usual, we nerd out on democracy and making laws. For more information about Rep. Duffy and the committee she serves on, click here.
