Holyoke Media is a community resource, guided by community members
The Holyoke Community Media, Inc. board consists of nine members. Three positions are appointed: one each by the Mayor, the City Council, and the School Department. The remaining six are elected from the organization’s membership.

Daniel O’Sullivan PresidentDaniel is a Branch Manager at Easthampton Savings Bank. He was appointed to the board by the Holyoke City Council. Bringing a financial perspective, Daniel adds valuable insights to the board.

Mike Hines Vice PresidentMichael is the Media Center Director at Holyoke Public Schools. He has extensive experience as a video editor and news producer.

Omar Torres TreasurerOmar is a Computer Coordinator at the Holyoke Public Library and the founder of ThePrivacyReport.net. He has extensive IT knowledge and experience, and is dedicated to providing technology literacy education to the public.

Ismary Santiago ClerkAs the Education Program Manager at New England Public Media, Ismary teaches Holyoke and Springfield youth how to produce content for multiple platforms. Before working for NEPM, she was a teacher at the Holyoke Community Charter School. She has experience with media production and education.

Keishla Archeval Board MemberKeishla is a Digital Equity Coordinator at Way Finders who leads inclusive, community-driven digital literacy and outreach initiatives, collaborates with partners to bridge the digital divide, and is excited to advance this work as a new board member at Holyoke Media.

Derek Baez Board MemberDerek serves as the Director of Youth Services at MassHire Holyoke, working closely with youth, employers, and community partners to expand access to career and training opportunities. They are dedicated to empowering young people to discover their strengths and succeed in meaningful career pathways.

Dr. Gloria Caballero Board MemberDr. Gloria Caballero is Director of Programs at the nonprofit, after-school program Homework House Holyoke and a Lecturer of Latinx Literature at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. She founded and convenes the Latin American and Caribbean Ethics Forum (LACEF) and co-leads the annual Afro Caribbean History Through the Arts Juneteenth project.

Vinnie Bonilla Board MemberOriginating from the Puerto Rican diaspora in the South Bronx, Vinnie is a dedicated nonprofit educator in Holyoke and Springfield who empowers underrepresented students and inspires academic success through his unwavering commitment to education.

Kocayne Givner Board MemberKoco’s background is in garment manufacturing and higher ed. She served two terms as a City Councilor and continues to serve on Holyoke’s Biking & Pedestrian Committee. She is passionate about traffic safety and how public information can be better shared in this fragmented media age.
