Celebrating Colombia’s Independence Day on July 20th, the City of Holyoke held a flag raising ceremony, led by Holyoke Mayor, Joshua García, and his wife, Stefany Escobar García.

During the event at Holyoke City Hall, they recognized the contributions of the Colombian community in the city, and gave a special mention to Ana Jaramillo for her work with the Holyoke Health Center.

Also, Mayor García made a proclamation celebrating Colombia’s Independence Day, being this the first one made completely in Spanish.
