Quiero Volver: A Xingonx Ritual Opera manifest. This is a creative work by Doctora Diana Álvarez, multidisciplinary artist. During this conversation at Easthampton CitySpace, we learned the backstory of how Quiero Volver was inspired and how during a process of work over eight years, made possible this documentation of stories and exploration of rituals as a multimedia installation, and a dedicated space for performance, that provides and promotes coalition building for QTBIPOC artists.

You can experience Quiero Volver: A Xingonx Ritual Opera on May 13, at CitySpace Blue Room, 43 Main Street in Easthampton, MA, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a QTBIPOC affinty space, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Both times will include self-guided walk-throughs as well as performance.

A second performance installation of Quiero Volver is scheduled for May 27, at Creative Resilience Lab, 80 Race Street in Holyoke, MA, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a QTBIPOC affinty space, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Both times will include self-guided walk-throughs as well as performance.
