Now occupying most of an historic Victorian house affectionately called “The Pink Lady\,” the Archives has been stewarded for most of its five decades by curator Ben Power and many dedicated community volunteers and board directors.\nAs a community resource with a mission to remain outside of institutional/university ownership\, the SMA is currently struggling to make ends meet–to pay monthly utilities and basic operating costs.
