E.D. compensation

• Scott provided latest 2020 budget for us to review.
• CB – Are other employees  receiving raises and he said
• SM- Yes. 5%/year.
• 6:46 pm Scott leaves room

• ArtHub grant is not proceeding
  • The funder opted to pull funding.
• Building Committee met with our OPM to discuss bidding process.
  • We are still waiting for the final construction documents from the architects, but they have said they should be complete within three weeks.
    • Once received, the bidding documents can be completed quickly.
  • GC will be equired to work with students from the technical High School (if they are able to participate due to the pandemic).
  • Will develop a list of GC’s who will to receive the bid invitation.
• Health insurance renewal rates.
  • 15% increase for the same policy.
  • There are less expensive options but they have substantially higher copays.
    • Motion to renew our current policy at the higher rate.

  • Some technical issues this month which were challenging to correct because after hours access to City Hall is a problem.

• Discuss process for crafting, approving and distributing editorials/org statements
• Discuss the specific action steps can we take as an organization to combat systemic racism both within our organization and the wider community
  • Action steps. Read website: www.mediajustice.org
  • Engage a facilitator to help us with actions that we can take to combat systemic racism.
• AW voiced concern that we still don’t have an actual membership base.
