On August 1st, 2025, Holyoke Mayor, Joshua García, welcomed Mayor of Comerío, Puerto Rico, Irvin Rivera González and his wife to the International Volleyball Hall of Fame, to reveal what it will be a new exhibit, representing the contributions of Puerto Rico and its athletes to the game of Volleyball through history.

This meaningful event took place during the celebrations of the Holyoke Fiestas Patronales, dedicated to the town of Comerío, PR. This exhibit is possible thanks to the advocacy and research by Jimmy Camacho. It is expected to have the exhibit complete by the annual induction of the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in October.
