Holyoke Media Presents: Dan Battat and his educational journey as a glasswork artist.

Dan Battat is a glass artist and an educator. His studio in Holyoke, Battat Glass, has been the central hub for his craft, and a connector for different opportunities to teach about glasswork to students in various educational institutions like LightHouse Holyoke, and The Care Center.

In this conversation, we learn about his journey as a blow glass artist, and how his recent work has allowed him to be involved with a program in partnership with The Performance Project, which offers a summer program at Morgan School, in South Holyoke, under the program Ubuntu.
