Mayor Looks Back and Ahead

 In Government, Mayor's Message

Mayor Joshua García looks back at 2023, a year of working deeply with the City Council and of heartbreak when it would not fund his plan named after the eight-month baby killed while in the womb of his mother as they traveled on public transportation in when schools get out. He tried several times to persuade the councilors, but to not avail. This year in 2024, he will work again on ensuring that city government is on track to to do the business of keeping it attractive for businesses to come in, picking up the trash, spending the hard-earned money of taxpayers on programs that make senses. And once again aiming to keep the streets safe. The conversation was held between the mayor and Natalia Muñoz, the news director of Holyoke Media.,
