New Podcast Alert: Mexican Educator, Artist, Gabriela Alcántara Pohls delves into the meaning and history of the Fiestas Patronales (Patron Saint Festivities).

This is a new podcast produced at Holyoke Media, with Mexican artist, activist, and former educator, Gabriela Alcántara Pohls, about the multiple events and social activities happening in our region of Holyoke, Western Massachusetts, and New England.

This podcast, yet to be named, – or better said, yet for its name to be revealed- focuses in this first episode, “The Three B’s” on the colonial practice of the Patron Saint Festivities or Fiestas Patronales, a propos of the Fiestas Patronales de Holyoke 2023, happening from August 3 to 6.
