Holyoke Media Presents: Michele Rosewoman celebrates 40 years of New Yor-Uba with a tour that brings her music to our region.

Holyoke Media presents a conversation with pianist, composer, and educator, Michele Rosewoman, about her musical career and a journey that today is a legacy into the jazz scene that is enriched with traditional Cuban folkloric music.

We will learn about her experience over four decades with her long-standing Quintessence ensemble, and the ensemble New Yor-Uba.

Michele Rosewoman and New Yor-Uba will perform on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 and the Community Music School of Springfield.
